What is World Environment Day?
World Environment Day occurs every year on 5th June to raise awareness on the environmental challenges the world is facing. Each year runs with a new theme to spotlight a particular issue which needs to be addressed.
What is the World Environment Day 2023 theme?
With more than 400 million tonnes of plastic produced in the world every year, the theme for World Environment Day this year focuses on solutions to plastic pollution the campaign #BeatPlasticPollution. The aim is to show how we, as individuals, companies and countries as a whole, can use plastic more sustainably in an effort to end plastic pollution for good.
